Barleys started in August 2020 with a simple goal: all-vegan food in a relaxed, welcoming space. We opened as Hull’s first vegan deli with just three sandwiches and a few bakes on the menu

With support from our early visitors, we soon expanded to seven days a week, growing our menu and developing house-made vegan alternatives. Five years on, we’ve moved to a bigger home on Newland Avenue, serving daily brunch and lunch, plus events like Yoga Brunch, Sunday Lunch and the return of our Evening Supper Club this February
