WELCOME TO BARLEYS

Established in 2020, Barleys is a day-time vegan eatery and coffee shop in the residential area of Newland Avenue, Hull. We specialise in creating our own vegan meat alternatives and as much from scratch as possible; from the vegan Chick'n and Pastrami used in our daily sandwich menu to the cashew-based sauces, seasoning blends for our sausage rolls and range of homemade frozen ready-meals available to take home with you


After almost 5 years in our original space, we made the move in May 2025 to a more spacious home at 123 Newland Avenue. Our daily menu now offers a more expansive Brunch, Lunch and Sandwich Menu and, come Friday and Saturdays, we're open until 9pm with a brand new Evening Small Plates menu alongside a range of all-vegan wine and beer
